Vaughan, Henry “Harry” Scott, Class of 1894, b. 1874 Tioga, NY son of Dr and Druggist Charles and Lottie Vaughan, step-son of Myra Coulter Vaughan; Druggist; Buffalo College of Pharmacy ’01; succeeded his father at People's Drug Store Port Byron, NY '97; prescription clerk at Groves Pharmacy Batavia; purchased the Gould Pharmacy with his former college roommate William L. Rider forming Vaughan & Rider Pharmacists Batavia ’05-’23; in 1910 they expanded with the purchase of the F T Wilcox Drug Co of LeRoy, NY operating as Vaughan & Rider but co-managed by his father Charles, a retired physician and licensed pharmacist; in 1923 he purchased the Hofstetter Block at Warsaw, NY; Musical Director and performer with Holland Club Minstrels; President Batavia Merchant’s Council; d. 1930 Rochester, NY bur. Unknown.

Vaughan (née Coulter), Myra, Class of 1882, b. 1860 dau of Sarah Coulter, may be the Myra Ames living with Jospeph Coulter in 1865, resided with step-father Edgar Cole in 1870, resided with grandfather Joseph Coulter in 1880; Educator; taught primary class at Port Byron Free Academy, having replaced Eugenia Porter in 1885; remained with grade school classes at the old Port Byron High School; 15 year teaching career; married physician and druggist Charles Vaughn who started at Blake’s Pharmacy until opening his own drug store People's Drugs; relocated to LeRoy, NY where her husband was co-manager of their son's drugstore Vaughan & Rider; later returned to Port Byron and moved to Syracuse after husband's death; died 1924 Syracuse, NY, bur. Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Port Byron, NY.

Warren, Harry R., Class of 1894, b. 1877 Port Byron, NY son of SGT Richard and Elizabeth Day Warren; Coal and Lumber Merchant; History of Central New York reports Harry attended 2 years of graduate classes at the Port Byron Academy before joining his father’s business which was launched in 1876 in partnership with John Litts as Litts and Warren.  In ’86 his father bought out his partner and operated as Richard Warren until taking on partnerships with his sons Howard and Harry in 1903 becoming Richard Warren & Sons.  After Howard’s death in 1909, it operated as Richard Warren & Son and with his father’s death in 1914 operated as H R Warren; served on the original Board of Directors of the Port Byron Telephone Co. ’05 and was treasurer ‘05-‘22; Justice of the Peace; village trustee; Mentz Town Board; Chairman Cayuga County Board of Supervisors ’25-‘38; Chairman Cayuga County Work Relief Committee; member Sons of Veterans, Judge Advocate Lockwood Post #175 GAR; Cayuga County Chamber of Commerce; d. 1938 Port Byron, NY, bur. Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Port Byron, NY.
